What is the difference between Custody and Visitation?
“Custody” and “Visitation” are sometimes used in the same context but have different meanings. Custody is decision making and visitation is time. I am required to take a parenting class as part of my divorce settlement. Where do I go to do this, and can I take my class online?
In divorce cases involving minor children, parties are required to take a 4 hour approved parenting class before finalization. Many judges do not approve of taking a parenting class online, so it is important to ask beforehand. Our attorneys can provide a list of available locations for your parenting class upon request.
